Job summary

The Grange School in Castleford, part of Keys Education, is recruiting a SEND Primary Teacher to plan and deliver high-quality teaching for KS1 and KS2 pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

We value inclusive practice, safeguarding and collaboration within a supportive team. QTS/QTLS is required, with at least two years SEND experience. DBS checks are part of safeguarding procedures and training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Passion and commitment to students with SEND.
• Ability to plan, teach and assess across KS1/KS2 in a SEND environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach, and assess a range of subjects for KS1/KS2.
• Support positive behaviour and create safe learning environments.
• Contribute to curriculum development and report writing.
