TimePlan Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded all-through SEND school in Cambridge that caters to pupils aged 4 to 16 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of complex learning and communication needs.
We are currently seeking a passionate and flexible SEND Primary Teacher to join the primary department on a full-time, ongoing temporary basis starting in September 2025.
This specialist all-through school provides a highly structured and nurturing environment for children and young people with a variety of additional needs. The school is particularly well-equipped to support pupils with ASC, SEMH, and communication difficulties, and places a strong emphasis on emotional well-being, independence, and tailored learning.
Teach a class of primary-aged pupils (4-11) with ASC and additional SEND, using personalised, differentiated strategies to meet individual needs.
Create a calm and consistent classroom environment that supports routine, communication, and emotional regulation.

Work closely with a dedicated team of TAs, the SENCO, and onsite therapy teams to deliver holistic education and care.
Track academic and developmental progress using SEND-appropriate assessment tools.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with children with ASC and SEND, preferably in a specialist setting
A patient, calm, and adaptive approach to teaching and behaviour support
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A genuine commitment to inclusive and therapeutic education
A dedicated SEND consultant offering personalised support
Competitive rates paid weekly in line with MPS/UPS
Ongoing access to long-term roles and permanent SEND opportunities
Free CPD and SEND-specific training courses
If you're an enthusiastic and nurturing teacher with a passion for supporting autistic learners in a specialist setting, we would love to hear from you.
