Job summary

Outwood Grange Academy in Wakefield is seeking a SEND Officer to join our Inclusion Team. The role is 37 hours per week during term time plus five days, and is a permanent position aligned with our SEND objectives.

The successful candidate will coordinate support for SEND students, work with families and staff, and ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating support for students with SEND and familiarity with SEND Code of Practice is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate support for students with SEND to help each student reach their potential.
• Collaborate with students, families, academy staff and external agencies.
• Ensure compliance with SEND Code of Practice through Inclusion Team.
