Job summary

Reed Further Education in Cardiff is recruiting a passionate Maths Teacher (SEND) to deliver engaging maths lessons to learners with SEND, adapting approaches to meet individual needs and supporting their progression.

You will hold QTS (or PGCE) and have experience in FE or SEND settings; a DBS check and safeguarding training are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching Maths in FE, Secondary or SEND settings.
• DBS check and safeguarding training will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons for SEND learners.
• Differentiate teaching materials to support individual needs.
• Assess and monitor learner progress, set targets.
• Work with Learning Support Assistants and wider teams.
• Maintain safeguarding and wellbeing in teaching practice.
