Job summary

Ribbons & Reeves are arranging a SEND LSA role in York for a Psychology graduate. You will provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with additional needs and help them engage throughout the school day.

Ideal candidates hold a Psychology degree (2:1 or higher) and demonstrate enthusiasm, professionalism and the ability to build strong relationships with young people. September start, full-time until July 2027.

Qualifications

• A Psychology degree (ideally 2:1 or higher) and an interest in Education/Teaching.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with pupils.
• Proactive, approachable and professional approach to working with young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Support learning, confidence and engagement throughout the school day.
• Help pupils overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
• Work closely with teachers and SEND/pastoral teams.
• September start; full-time until July 2027.
