Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking a Psychology Graduate SEN TA to support learners with SEND in a mainstream setting. This is a long-term, full-time placement in a Leeds school for the full academic year, with opportunities to develop classroom support skills and build relationships with pupils.

Ideal candidates hold a UK Psychology degree, a strong grasp of English, Maths and Science, and prior experience with young people. There is a pathway to teacher training in the future.

Qualifications

• UK Psychology Bachelor's degree.
• Strong understanding of core subjects (English, Maths, Science).
• Experience supporting young people (tutoring, mentoring, youth work).
• Aspiring to train as a teacher in the future (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Long term, full time role in the same school for the full academic year.
• Support in either a primary or secondary mainstream school.
• Assist pupils with ASD, PMLD, ADHD.
• Leeds location.
