Job summary

Hugh Baird College in Liverpool is seeking a Lecturer in Special Education Needs to cover maternity in the Transitions Hub. The role is part-time, 17 hours per week, with an annual salary of £33,990 to £42,764 pro rata according to hours worked.

You will teach SEND learners at Entry Level 2 and above, using EHCPs knowledge, deliver engaging sessions, provide feedback, and collaborate with care staff. The post offers Teachers’ Pension, generous holiday, and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent required.
• PGCE/Certificate of Education or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience in lifelong learning sector desirable.
• Knowledge of EHCPs and SEND essential.
• Experience in developing external partnerships helpful.
• Ability to give clear feedback to learners and motivate.
• Inspire and raise learner aspirations through high-quality teaching.
