Harlow College is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner to provide targeted learning support and personal care for students with SEND, helping them to engage with their courses and fulfil their potential. You will work with teaching staff, parents and healthcare partners to ensure safe, effective support plans, differentiate materials, and support assessments, exams, and enrichment activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND.
• Ability to differentiate materials and adapt delivery.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with students, staff and parents.

Responsabilités

• Provide learning support to enable students to reach their potential and understand content.
• Offer personal and intimate care support as identified in care plans, while promoting independence.
• Collaborate with parents, healthcare professionals, SEND staff and teachers to meet learners’ needs safely.
• Support assessments, revision sessions, inductions, visits, work placements and employability activities.
