Job summary

Dovetail and Slate Limited is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join an inclusive educational community. The role supports students with SEND, enabling access to the vocational curriculum and the development of essential life skills.

You will provide direct classroom and workshop support for Level 1 learners, and mentoring for students on higher-level courses with EHCPs, while upholding safeguarding and welfare practices.

Qualifications

• English and Maths at GCSE Grade C/4 or Level 2 standard.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND or autistic spectrum conditions.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class, workshop and mentoring support to Level 1 learners.
• Act as key worker for EHCP students and monitor targets.
• Assist with personal care when required per training.
