Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for a primary mainstream school in Walsall (WS2, Pleck). You will provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to a Year 2 pupil, helping access the curriculum and build confidence.

You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs and specialists to support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech and language needs, promoting a calm, inclusive and nurturing classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience working in SEND or SEN settings
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Patient, resilient, and child-centered approach
• Ability to support pupils with complex needs including SEMH

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality SEND support in a primary school
• Support pupils to access the curriculum and engage in learning
• Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation
• Support pupils with communication and speech & language needs
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals
• Promote a calm, inclusive, and nurturing environment
