Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Wednesbury. You will work closely with pupils and teaching staff to provide tailored support both in the classroom and, where required, on a 1:1 basis.

You will help pupils to access learning, develop their confidence and independence, and overcome barriers to education. The role requires patience, resilience and a caring approach, with SEND experience considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Ideally experience supporting pupils with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis.
• Help pupils access learning, develop confidence and independence.
• Work with teachers to tailor support to individual needs.
