Job summary

Sprites Primary Academy in Ipswich is seeking a dedicated Special Education Needs Learning Support Assistant to support children with a range of needs including EHCPs. The LSA will work alongside the teacher to enhance teaching and learning through proactive, child-centred support.

Experience with SEND, Speech and Language, ADHD, SEMH and Autism is highly regarded. A calm, patient approach, good listening skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff are

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEND children in primary
• Understanding of SEN needs and safeguarding procedures
• Calm, patient and good listening skills
• Ability to build relationships with students, parents and staff

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEN under the guidance of the teacher
