Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a special needs school near Horsham. The role supports pupils aged 5-18 with a range of needs, including autism spectrum disorders, and offers on the job training with fully funded qualifications.

The successful candidate will work 1:1 and in small groups, following teacher plans, and will join a supportive team with strong career progression and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Experience working with learners with varied needs.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Willingness to learn and build relationships with learners.

Responsibilities

• Providing teaching assistance as per weekly/daily plans.
• Working 1:1 with students.
• Providing group/individual activities planned by the teacher.
• Supporting learners' wellbeing within the school environment.
• Monitoring and evaluating students' progress under supervision.
