Job summary

Elementa Support Services Ltd is looking for a SEND Learning Support Assistant based in Slough, England, to support young people with various Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Your role will involve providing both 1:1 and small-group support to help students engage with their learning, develop social skills, and overcome personal challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND or challenging behaviour.
• Holds relevant GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
• Confident in providing 1:1 support to learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support learners to engage positively in lessons.
• Monitor and record student progress and engagement.

Skills

Education

GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent)
