Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for Uxbridge College. The role involves supporting students with SEND to access learning, develop independence, and reach their potential within a college environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SEND, strong communication and teamwork, and a patient, flexible approach. Hours are 08:45–16:30, 4–5 days per week, with DBS and safeguarding checks expected.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or adults with SEND.
• Previous SEN school/college or healthcare setting experience is beneficial.
• Patient, compassionate, flexible approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEND to access learning and develop independence.
