Job summary

Greenways Primary School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant learning community. The role focuses on supporting children with complex special educational needs to access personalised learning opportunities within our specialist class provisions.

The successful applicant will work in partnership with class teachers to raise standards, support communication and language skills, and assist pupils with complex learning needs in a supportive, structured environment.

Qualifications

• Outstanding practitioner committed to partnering with class teachers to raise standards and develop every aspect of our children including their communication and language skills
• Passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning, including supporting pupils with complex behaviour needs
• Experience supporting pupils with complex SEN to access personalised learning
• Able to think creatively to make learning exciting and relevant
• Highly organised and able to manage time effectively
• Reflective practitioner keen to develop skills and progress in role
• Positive, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a wider team
• GCSE Maths and English at least C (or equivalent); NVQ/Learning Support or Early Years desirable
