Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a resilient and compassionate SEND & SEMH Learning Support Assistant to support young people aged 11-16 within a specialist educational setting in Harrogate.

You’ll help pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs to engage with learning, regulate emotions and build positive relationships, working closely with teaching staff to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND, SEMH, PRU, alternative provision or challenging behaviour is desirable.
• Patient, resilient and confident in managing challenging situations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

You’ll support pupils with a range of SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs, helping them engage with learning, regulate emotions and build positive relationships.

About You
