Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of children and vulnerable adults with special needs? Do you have a passion for working with those who need extra support? Whether you come from a social care background or have personal experience supporting SEND, we want to hear from you!

Protocol Education is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a specialist school focused on empowering pupils with a variety of special needs, including MLD, SLD, ASD, and PMLD.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where you’ll provide vital assistance to children, helping them thrive in their educational journey. While experience in SEND is a plus, it’s not a must—what matters most is your dedication and willingness to make a difference!

What are we looking for?

  • A friendly, positive, and patient approach to teaching and learning
  • Strong relationship-building skills with children
  • Training in First Aid, Manual Handling, and Hoisting (Desirable but not essential)
  • A passion for supporting children with special needs

This is a long-term, full-time position requiring availability 5 days a week (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM), making it a fantastic opportunity for those who want to dedicate themselves to a rewarding and impactful role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
