Job summary

Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School in Stourbridge is seeking a Learning Mentor or Learning Support Assistant to support students with SEND and help them access the curriculum.

You will conduct regular one-to-one work with students, contribute to classroom activities and collaborate with the Class Teacher to plan for EHCP guidance and progress tracking. A commitment to inclusive, Steiner-inspired education is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEND.
• Ability to support students with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia.
• Willingness to research relevant conditions and attend training.

Responsibilities

• Support KS4 students to access the curriculum and ensure progress.
• Maintain records and update the SENDCo with progress.
• Join in classroom activities and support other students when appropriate.
