Job summary

Brundall Primary School, part of the City2Coast Primary Federation, is seeking a temporary teaching assistant for KS2 to support pupils with SEND until August 2027. The role is 18.75 hours per week in term time plus one week, with travel to federation sites and a potential route to HLTA. Visa sponsorship is not available.

You will work with the class teacher and other TAs in small groups and one-to-one sessions, helping pupils with learning, play and behaviour in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced teaching assistant
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• Experience working with all primary-age children

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND in learning, work and play
• Work alongside the class teacher and other teaching assistants
• Support pupil behaviour and build good relationships with pupils
• Act as a role model for pupils
• Respond to individual pupil needs
• Work with pupils one-to-one and in small groups
