Job summary

Long-Term Teachers Ltd is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a 2-form-entry primary school in the TA8 area of Somerset, starting ASAP. You will assist teachers with interventions and PPA cover across KS1 and KS2.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children, including SEND, and be capable of adapting activities to meet diverse needs while building positive relationships with pupils and staff. This is a temporary, full-time role with daily pay.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Support interventions and PPA cover across KS1 and KS2.
• Work with Teachers to deliver pre-planned lessons and adapt activities as needed.
• Develop core subject interventions to support English and Maths.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
