Job summary

Mangotsfield School invites applications for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to deliver targeted interventions for students with SEND, helping them reach high personal and academic aspirations. You will work under the SENDCo delivering 1:1 and small-group sessions, support planning and resources, maintain SEND records and help with behaviour and safeguarding across the school.

This permanent role is 35 hours per week, 39 weeks a year (term time + INSET); salary pro-rated to £24,036, with a clear

Qualifications

• Experience delivering targeted interventions for students with SEND.
• Ability to use data to inform teaching and impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to build relationships with students, colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions for students with SEND.
• Help planning, organising resources, and maintaining SEND records.
• Support behaviour and safeguarding across the school.
• Assist teachers with lesson planning and classroom organisation.
