Job summary

Kids Planet Day Nurseries Ltd. in Manchester is seeking a SEND Early Years Lead to join our team, ready to engage with children, spark imaginations, and support learning for all.

You will lead collaboration with families, staff and external agencies to design and implement tailored plans for children with SEND, ensuring an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Qualifications

• Must be Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification and senior-level experience.
• Understands Ofsted requirements.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive safeguarding knowledge.
• Experience working with children with SEND requirements.
• Experience working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
• Ability to demonstrate multi-agency working and lead staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead in assisting children with SEND to engage fully in learning and reach their potential.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and external agencies to design and implement tailored support plans that meet each child's needs.

How you'll make a difference as a SEND Early Years Lead

• By taking the lead in assisting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to engage fully in learning and reach their potential.
• Through leading collaboration with families, staff, and external agencies to design and implement tailored support plans that meet each child's needs.
• By taking responsibility for promoting an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.

What a SEND Early Years Lead Needs

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification and experience of working at a senior level.
• Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Experience of working with children with SEND requirements.
• Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
• Ability to demonstrate multi agency working and experience of leading staff meetings
