Job summary

Kids Planet Lytham Lodge is seeking a SEND Early Years Educator to support children with SEND and help them thrive. The role is 30 hours per week and based at our Lytham Lodge setting with good transport links nearby.

You will work closely with families, staff and external agencies to develop tailored support plans in a nurturing, inclusive environment. A UK Level 2 Early Years qualification and strong EYFS knowledge are required, with safeguarding experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK recognised Level 2 Early Years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Experience of working with children with SEND is desirable.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEND to engage fully in learning and reach their potential.
• Collaborate with families, staff and external agencies to create tailored support plans.

What a SEND Early Years Educator needs:

• Must be at least Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Experience of working with children with SEND requirements.
