Job summary

Kids Planet is seeking a SEND Early Years Educator to support children with special educational needs across our nurseries in the UK. You will work closely with families, staff and external agencies to develop tailored support plans and help every child thrive in an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.

We offer extensive training through KP Academy, enhanced leave for maternity/paternity and adoption, wellbeing perks, and a strong central support team to help you succeed in the role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Experience of working with children with SEND requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist children with SEND to engage in learning and reach their potential.
• Collaborate with families, staff and external agencies to create tailored support plans.
• Promote an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued and able to thrive.

How you'll make a difference as a SEND Early Years Educator:

By assisting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to engage fully in learning and reach their potential. Through working closely with families, staff, and external agencies to create tailored support plans that meet each child's needs. By promoting an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.

SEND Early Years Educator needs:

Must be at least Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification. Excellent understanding of EYFS. Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children. Experience of working with children with SEND requirements.
