Job summary

Kids Planet West Derby is seeking a SEND Early Years Educator to join our team and help children thrive. You’ll support children with SEND to engage in learning and work with families and external agencies to tailor support plans.

Based on the grounds of Alder Hey Hospital, we offer training through KP Academy, safeguarding focus, enhanced leave, wellbeing, and a competitive salary with pension.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 2 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Experience of working with children with SEND requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist children with SEND to engage fully in learning and reach their potential.
• Work closely with families, staff, and external agencies to create tailored support plans that meet each child's needs.
• Promote an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.
