Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor for a specialist SEND school in Sheffield. You will cover lessons across a wide age range, from Year 3 to Year 11, ensuring pupils stay engaged and supported while collaborating with staff to maintain continuity of learning.

Ideal candidates will have SEND experience, strong behaviour management skills, and a patient, nurturing approach to help pupils reach their potential. This is a full-time fixed-term role until July 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people with SEND and complex needs.
• Ability to manage challenging situations and maintain positive relationships with pupils.
• Experience supporting planning, learning and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Cover lessons across the school and keep pupils engaged and supported.
• Work with teachers to ensure continuity of learning and assist with lesson delivery.
• Support planning, delivery and assessment to meet individual needs.
