Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for Sheffield primary schools. Roles include supporting individual pupils or small groups, working alongside classroom staff to assist children with additional needs across mainstream and SEND settings.

We welcome applicants with SEND experience; Team Teach or behaviour management training is a plus. Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities are available to fit your availability across the school year.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Team Teach or behaviour management training is advantageous.
• Patient, resilient and confident building positive relationships with children.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individual pupils, small groups, or alongside the classroom team.
• Help pupils engage with learning and develop independence.
• Support pupils with a range of additional needs as required.
