We are working with an exceptional special school that provides tailored support to students with complex learning needs. They are seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEND Cover Supervisor to play a key role in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a nurturing learning environment.

About the role:

  1. Lead pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring an engaging and structured learning experience.
  2. Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students develop their confidence and independence.
  3. Assist in managing a variety of complex needs, including supporting non-verbal students and those with significant learning difficulties.
  4. Work closely with teachers to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  5. Support students in both academic and social development, helping them thrive in their education journey.

While subject-specific expertise isn’t required, confidence in classroom management and student engagement is essential.

Who we’re looking for:

The role is ideal for a variety of candidates, including:

  1. Experienced SEN TAs seeking more responsibility.
  2. Unqualified teachers seeking a full-time role.
  3. Qualified HLTA’s eager to make a real impact.

What matters most is your experience leading students and working in SEN settings. This role can be challenging but offers exceptional rewards for those with resilience, dedication, and a desire to help students thrive.

Working with Long-term Teachers:

We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary, and Special Schools.
