Job summary

NHGS is seeking an ambitious SENDCo to champion inclusive excellence and lead provision for SEND students in Years 7-13. You will work with the leadership team, liaise with external agencies, and promote research-backed strategies to improve outcomes.

You will be supported by a Deputy SENDCo and a SEND administrator, working within a welcoming SEND provision area that emphasizes personal development and strong community links.

Qualifications

• Champion inclusive excellence across the school.
• Drive whole-school SEND policy development and high aspirations.
• Lead and develop the SEND team and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead provision for SEND students in Years 7–13 and liaise with external agencies and local partnerships.
• Model best teaching practice and influence learning across the school.
• Provide professional guidance to colleagues and support staff within the SEND provision.
