Wexham Court Primary School in Slough is recruiting a part-time SEND class teacher (19.5 hours/week) to deliver targeted interventions under the SENDCO. The role combines teaching with SEN support, focusing on diverse needs including EAL, in a high-mobility school environment.

The post requires eligibility to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check. Visa sponsorship is not available. You will work with the inclusion lead to raise attainment and promote inclusive learning for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in primary settings with SEND provision.
• Ability to coach and develop inclusive teaching practices.
• Strong communication with pupils, parents and professionals.
• Use of assessment data to inform planning and interventions.

Responsabilités

• Deliver tailored interventions and support for pupils with SEND under the direction of the SENDCO
• Teach high-quality lessons with planning for SEND and EAL
• Collaborate with the inclusion lead to improve SEND experiences and outcomes
• Use assessment data and tools to monitor progress and inform planning
• Coach colleagues to develop inclusive teaching practices and interventions
• Manage pupil behaviour positively and consistently
• Engage with pupils, parents, carers and professionals
• Promote equity in learning outcomes in line with school values
