Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for an inspirational SEND Class Teacher to start ASAP in Ashington, England. The role involves planning and delivering lessons to pupils with SEND across primary and secondary levels, with support from Teaching Assistants.

You will hold QTS with UK teaching experience, plan long-, medium-, and short-term work, and use diverse assessment methods to track progress while building strong relationships with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• QTS and UK teaching experience in a SEND setting.
• Enhanced DBS preferred (Update Service optional).
• Experience planning across short, medium and long term.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
• Excellent relationship-building with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons to small classes of SEND pupils.
• Differentiate lessons to meet individual needs and learning styles.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to support progress and behaviour.
