Job summary

Vision for Education are seeking a compassionate SEND Class Teacher to lead a class of pupils in a supportive and inclusive Birmingham setting. You will design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons, collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and external professionals, and monitor pupil progress to foster academic and personal growth within a calm, nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate holds PGCE/QTS/QTLS, has SEND experience, understands SEMH and complex learning needs, and

  • Provide tailored learning support to enable every pupil to achieve their individual potential.
  • Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons suited to a variety of students with learning abilities and needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to support pupil development.
  • Create a calm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes confidence and positive behaviour.
  • Monitor and evaluate pupil progress regularly, adapting teaching strategies to encourage both academic and personal growth.
  • Develop strong and professional relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues to support positive outcomes.
