Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is recruiting a SEND Catering & Hospitality Lecturer for a temporary, full‑time post in West Sussex. You will deliver accessible catering/hospitality sessions to SEND learners at Levels 1–2 and tailor teaching to individual needs.

The ideal candidate will have FE teaching experience, a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/DET or equivalent), and strong classroom management. Immediate start and inclusive FE environment support available.

Qualifications

• Strong experience teaching Catering and/or Hospitality within Further Education.
• Proven experience working with SEND learners, Levels 1-2.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DET or equivalent.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Relevant SEND/Additional Learning Needs training is highly desirable.
• Recent industry experience within Catering/Hospitality alongside teaching experience.
• Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent preferred.
• A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Catering & Hospitality lessons to SEND learners.
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit different abilities and learning needs.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
