Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting experienced Catering lecturers to join FE providers across South Wales. The role focuses on delivering practical kitchen sessions and theory-based learning, helping learners develop skills and qualifications.

You will bring strong industry experience, up-to-date food safety knowledge, and the ability to support learners including those with SEN/ALN. Ongoing opportunities with CPD and supportive consultancy are available.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Catering, Hospitality or a relevant discipline.
• Strong professional experience within the catering/hospitality industry.
• Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and professional kitchen practices.
• Experience supporting learners, apprentices or trainees is desirable.
• Strong practical skills and ability to demonstrate techniques.
• Teaching/training qualification desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience supporting learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Catering and Hospitality teaching
• Deliver practical kitchen sessions reflecting professional industry standards
• Demonstrate food preparation, cooking and presentation techniques
• Promote high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen practice
