Job summary

Baltimore Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced SEND Casework Officer for an initial 3-month interim contract starting immediately. The role operates in a statutory environment with hybrid working and requires attendance on-site as scheduled.

You will manage a large EHCP caseload (~220 across pathways), lead the 20-week assessment process, oversee Annual Reviews, and ensure SEND compliance while collaborating with families, schools, and multi-agency partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience within a SEND statutory assessment team.
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, statutory processes and compliance.
• Ability to manage the 20-week assessment process and Annual Reviews independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with families and educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of ~220 EHCP cases across Primary, Secondary or Post-16.
• Lead and coordinate the statutory 20-week EHC Needs Assessment process.
• Oversee Annual Reviews and ensure compliance with SEND legislation and timescales.
• Build relationships with parents, carers, schools and multi-agency partners.
