Job summary

Baltimore Consulting Limited is currently sourcing an Interim SEND Case Officer for a South London Local Authority. This four-month contract offers a busy workload managing EHCPs, annual reviews and phase transfers, with hybrid working and on-site presence 1–2 days per week.

You will lead and coordinate complex SEND casework, ensuring statutory timelines are met and outcomes for children and young people are supported. Applications welcome from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a SEND Case Officer within a Local Authority setting.
• Strong knowledge of EHCP legislation, statutory processes and SEND frameworks.
• Experience managing complex casework and challenging stakeholder discussions.
• Knowledge of annual reviews and phase transfers within education services.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload whilst maintaining quality and compliance.
