Job summary

Senploy is recruiting a SEND Career Development Assistant in Plymouth to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs. You will work alongside teachers and specialists to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning and develop essential skills.

This role offers immediate start, full-time term-time hours, and valuable experience in SEND, education and pastoral support, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Previous school experience is helpful but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
• Patience, resilience, reliability and a genuine interest in developing SEND skills.

Who Are We Looking For?

Previous school experience is helpful but isn't the only route into this position.

You may have experience from care, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, residential support or another role involving children or vulnerable people.

We're looking for someone who is patient, resilient, reliable and genuinely interested in developing their skills.

You’ll also need to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one, is required.
