Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEND Behaviour Support Worker for a specialist SEND school in Rochdale. You will support learners aged 11-19 with autism, ADHD and complex learning needs, focusing on communication, social and life skills.

This role is full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, term-time. You will work in a person-centred, holistic setting, building trusted relationships to support independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with autism or ADHD.
• Ability to adapt communication for non-verbal learners.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Support learners with complex needs in a person-centred setting.
