Job summary

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a specialist SEND school in Rochdale to recruit an SEND Support Worker. You will provide hands-on, personalised support to students with complex needs, helping them access bespoke learning pathways and overcome barriers to progress.

You will work closely with teachers, therapists and families in a nurturing setting, supporting pupils aged 11-19 with PMLD, ASD, and other impairments. This is a meaningful, rewarding role in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with complex SEND needs.
• Confidence working with PMLD, ASD, sensory impairments.
• Warm, person-centred approach focused on wellbeing.
• Ability to follow detailed support and care plans.
