An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Year 2/3 Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mixed-age class environment and is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. Starting September 2025.

Duties as a Year 2/3 Teacher:

• Teach a mixed Year 2/3 class, delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2 curriculum.

• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil progress and wellbeing.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support continuity and progression across year groups.

• Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to support all learners, including those with SEND.

Ideal Year 2/3 Teacher:

• Hold QTS and have experience teaching in KS1 or lower KS2 (Year 2, 3 or mixed-age classes).

• Be confident in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum across both key stages.

• Have excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Year 2/3 Teacher.

• Be reflective, organised, and passionate about raising achievement.

• Work well as part of a team and contribute positively to school life.
