Trilakes Nursery and Preschool in Sandhurst is seeking a brilliant SENCO to lead inclusive practice across the nursery. You’ll coach staff, support children with additional needs, and build strong relationships with families.
The role emphasises hands-on work with children, collaboration with health visitors and local authorities, and maintaining compliant documentation. A Level 3 EY qualification is required, with SENCO training being a plus.

Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification
SENCO qualification (desired or willing to undertake training)
Strong understanding of EYFS & SEND & Local Authority
Good organisational skills and time management

7:50am – Arrive, coffee, team catch-up
8:30am – Support children and check in on key needs
9:30am – Observe, assess, guide staff
10:30am – Parent meeting
11:30am – Update plans and records
12:00pm – LUNCH
12:30pm – Liaise with professionals / referrals
1:30pm – Support practice in rooms
3:00pm – Review progress and next steps and IEP’s
4:30pm – Team check-in
6:00pm – Head home!
