Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a dedicated SENCO for a high-performing primary school in Braintree, Essex. You will lead SEND provision, oversee EHCP-related support and work with staff to promote inclusive learning.

You will liaise with families and external agencies to ensure coordinated EHCP plans, with a focus on enabling every child to achieve their potential in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified SENCO with experience supporting students with SEND and EHCPs.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, parents and external agencies.
• Ability to plan, monitor and adapt individualised support for EHCP students.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess the needs of students with SEND, including those with EHCPs.
• Develop and oversee individualised support plans, including EHCP provision.
• Provide guidance to teaching staff and ensure training to meet SEN needs.
• Collaborate with parents, external agencies and local authorities to secure appropriate support for EHCPs.
