Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is recruiting for a SENCO at a West London primary school. The role is permanent with a September start and involves leading the SEND provision across the school to secure high-quality teaching and targeted interventions.

You will collaborate with staff, parents and external agencies to drive inclusive practice and ensure every pupil has access to appropriate support and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• NASENCO qualification or willingness to complete it.
• Experience as a SENCO or in a SEND leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation.
• Proven leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for students with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the school's SEND provision.
• Manage EHCPs, annual reviews and statutory processes.
• Support and develop teachers to deliver inclusive teaching.
• Work with parents, local authorities and external professionals.
• Monitor student progress and ensure effective interventions are in place.
• Contribute to leadership of inclusion and student wellbeing.
