Ashley Park School in Walton on Thames seeks a dedicated SENCo to lead and develop our SEND provision across our primary site. You will work with the Head of School, therapy team, families and external professionals to ensure outstanding outcomes for students with complex needs while teaching up to 50% of the timetable and modelling inclusive practice.

We want a Qualified Teacher Status holder with a SENCo qualification (or current towards) and a track record of EHCP planning, Annual Reviews and

Qualificações

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
SENCo qualification completed or currently working towards.
Experience supporting students with SEND, including ASC and communication needs.
Strong knowledge of EHCPs, SEND legislation and graduated approach.

Responsabilidades

Lead and develop the school's SEND provision, ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and statutory requirements.
Oversee EHCP provision, Annual Reviews, student progress and targeted interventions.
Work with the Head of School, therapy team and staff to monitor and improve SEND outcomes.
Build partnerships with parents, Local Authorities and external agencies for coordinated support.
Teach up to 50% of the timetable and model high-quality inclusive practice.
