Job summary

Branston Community Academy in Lincoln is seeking an outstanding SENCo to lead and develop SEN provision, build on strong foundations, champion inclusion, oversee daily operations, and work with the Senior Leadership Team to raise achievement.

The successful candidate will have SEND experience and ideally a recognised SENCO qualification, with a strong track record in middle management and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a SEND environment.
• Ideally a recognised SENCO qualification.
• Knowledge of needs of children with SEN/SEMH and effective communication.
• Record of excellent examination results.
• Experience of middle management and team leadership.
• Creative ideas to maximise student potential.
• Experience with a range of SEN needs.
• Strong commitment to raising achievement and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development of SEN provision and oversee its daily operation.
• Work with the Senior Leadership Team to raise attainment.
• Champion inclusion and drive curriculum delivery for all learners.
