Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• NPQ SENCO qualification is preferred.
• Experience of working with students with SEND in a secondary setting.
• Strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for SEND and inclusion across Shuttleworth College.
• Lead and develop a large SEND team to support students with diverse needs.
• Oversee identification, assessment, provision and progress of SEND students; coordinate EHCPs and annual reviews.
• Foster an inclusive culture and high-quality adaptive teaching across the school.
