Aspris Telford School seeks an outstanding Teacher to join our Teaching team. You will deliver a full timetable for students with SEMH, ADHD, ASD and other complex needs, developing curriculum guided by KS3-5 requirements.

The role includes SENCo and Exams Officer responsibilities, with focus on progression and wellbeing. You’ll contribute to resource development, support non-specialist staff, and monitor progress for a cohort with diverse needs, ensuring high-quality provision and safeguarding

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and experience with SEMH/ASD/ADHD.
• Experience as SENCO and Exams Officer preferred.
• Ability to develop curriculum for KS3-5.
• Experience with reporting and parent communication.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for a range of ages/abilities.
• Create bespoke lesson plans tailored to individual needs.
• Prepare high-quality teaching resources and support nonspecialist teachers.
• Assess student progress and contribute to reporting outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding progress and wellbeing.
• Provide pastoral support to a small tutor group.
• Fulfill SENCo responsibilities including JCQ/exam regulations and annual reviews.
• Support staff with SEN strategies including ASD/ADHD.
