Randstad Education is recruiting an Assistant Headteacher - SENCo to lead the strategic development of SEN provision at Fordham, Ely. You will work with senior leaders to raise standards, support staff, and champion inclusive education.

The role requires QTS with NASENCO, proven SENCo leadership, and a commitment to safeguarding with enhanced DBS and Child Protection training. The position is full-time, term-time with additional responsibilities.

Qualifications

• QTS with NASENCO qualification.
• Proven leadership experience in a SENCo role.
• Commitment to safeguarding and enhanced DBS check training required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement the school's SEN strategy, policies, and continuous provision evaluation alongside the Head of School.
• Provide specialist support, mentoring, and advice to teaching staff to elevate practice and pupil outcomes.
• Ensure full statutory SEN compliance, uphold child protection protocols, and promote student welfare.
