Job summary

Premium Educators is seeking an Assistant Headteacher (SENCo) to drive SEN and inclusion strategies, support attainment, and oversee SEN interventions. The role reports to the school leadership and focuses on safeguarding and staff training.

The position requires QTS, SEN management experience, and a commitment to raising attainment across the pupil cohort. UK-based posting with strong transport links and DBS check support.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and SEN management experience.
• Experience in teaching and managing SEN to raise attainment.
• Desirable: professional development in SEN and mentoring/teacher training.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of SEN and inclusion strategies.
• Set and monitor school targets for pupil attainment.
• Analyse assessment data to identify strengths and areas for development.
• Develop and implement individualised support plans for SEN pupils.
• Liaise with external agencies and manage the SEN budget.
• Provide training and INSET on SEN provision for staff.
• Manage and support SEN support staff.
